Event Details

This program will be held at the Community Center in the Giant Super Food Store, Willow Grove, PA.  Please follow the signs to the Community Center on the second floor of the store.  Enter the store to the far right from the parking lot closest to the Marketplace Café.  Once in the store turn right and take the elevator or steps to the second floor.  Turn right and follow the long hallway to the Willow Grove Room.

Speaker:         Maureen Ann Frye, MSN, CRNP, Director, Center for Patient Safety and

Health Care Quality, Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA

Employee engagement is critical to achieving an organization’s Mission and providing clear ‘line of sight’ is a fundamental leadership responsibility.  This presentation will outline how Abington Memorial Hospital aligned its core value with the workforce focus and achieved outcomes that resulted in achieving the Keystone Excellence Award.

 

Speaker:         Robert Schoch, Director of Business Administration, North Penn School District, Lansdale, PA

The presentation will review the history of the KAPE process for the North Penn School Distirct.  The effort in the past year resulted in KAPE recognition and the plans for the future.  The presentation will also focus on the relationship of quality management to very difficult financial circumstances.

 

Speaker:         Pete Feyhl, Director of Quality Assurance, Heraeus Electro-Nite Co., LLC, 

                        Newtown, PA

The presentation will give a chronology of the journey of Heraeus Electro-Nite Co. LLC from Mil Standards. to Business Excellence and the KAPE process, a reflection on the transition from just following rules, to personnel fulfillment and Customer Satisfaction.
